The Aquatic Manager works alongside the General Manager to manage, train, and maintain the Aquatic staff, thereby ensuring excellent customer service, quality swim lessons, and a safe facility.

Daily Job Responsibilities:

At least 2 consistent teaching shifts, upholding Aqua-Tot’s quality curriculum standards
Become Master Water Safety Instructor and Certified Pool Operator certified
Uphold excellent customer service by communicating effectively with potential and existing customers while building relationships with the families
Provide information about our facility, swim program, mission and core values
Handle customer complaints gracefully by using customer-focused principles in every customer interaction
Supervise/plan/anticipate aquatic scheduling and staffing needs
Interviewing/hiring/training/evaluating/discipling/firing of staff
Lead monthly in-service trainings for the Aquatic team
Ensure safety in and out of the water is the number one priority through deck supervising and maintaining cleanliness of facility
Monitor Master Water Safety Instructors and create training/evaluation schedules for all aquatic staff to uphold Aqua-Tots quality curriculum standards
Pull weekly aquatic reports to ensure proper student progression and consistency
Ensure that pool room & water are in code at all times
Become comfortable navigating our Point-of-Sale and CRM platforms
